The History of Sandy Lane Auto
- 1968 - Jim Morgan opens the doors at the first Sandy Lane Automotive in West Edmonton.
- 1979 - John Glumpak begins working at Sandy Lane Auto and after 29 years, he is still with us.
- 1980 - Kerry Morgan, Jim's son, acquires Sandy Lane Auto.
- 1980 - Pete DeJong begins working at Sandy Lane Auto and he is still with us today.
- 1981 - Sandy Lane moves to the south side of Edmonton, on Cornett Road.
- 1981 - Glen Campbell becomes an employee at Sandy Lane Auto and still works here.
- 1995 - Tony Glumpak begins working at Sandy Lane Auto and is still an employee today.
- 1998 - New building is built at our current location on Argyll Road.
- 2002 - Brett Morgan, continues the family legacy by becoming the 3rd generation owner of Sandy Lane Auto.
- 2007 - Sandy Lane Auto launches a new Vehicle Maintenance Program, new brand, and a new website.
